This is supposed to be P. cresphontes from Mexico .I have a P. thoas thoas from Brasil that has nearly identical markings only it's much larger and more elongate forewongs. Is that the difference?

Water stains by re-hydrating is extremely rare if you do it properly. For me it's only occasional stains by body fluid .

Thanks. H. exiguus looks like a ssp. of H. deois. I have this one from Yapen Island that looks similar .Anyone know what it is? Ps can you take a pic of H.exiguus Male alone?

And, which I can't say that it's mimicry note the white on the female endemic Hypolimnas exiguus. I didn't know Hypolimnas exiguus as a species. Which one is it? (and can you post a closer picture of it)

I have 3 species and N.aglaura has deeper blue than the other ones
I didn't know blue pigment was rare. What other butterflies have them?

Some species I had recurrent problems with
Hypolimnas antevorta and usambara reared from Tanzania Papilio androgeus females reared in Peru Anaea and Agrias ex-pupae from Costa Rica Papilio palinurus Ken Thorne's stock Papilio memnon females
