hmm yeah, that's why I wouldn't risk buying one. I had the same issue with P. androgeus females
Ex-pupae specimens are a risk to me. Also sometimes the specimens are killed to early and the wings are not hardened making them impossible to set

I use white Crayola project glue (dries transparent, better than Elmer which is sort of milky looking when dry) mixed with 99% alcool in a small vial.
this is my best recipe yet. Amazing for small tears in wings .The alcool makes it thin enough so the wings don't curl up when the glue dries

I saw one in Montreal for the first time in my life this year, on top of the Mont Royal. It was flying I couldn't take a picture of it

I have seen specimens with and without scent organs unfolded. Is this just personal preference? I prefer to leave them closed now

So Lycorea ilione albescens (Danaidae) and similar Olyra theon (Ithomidae) would both be poisonous and mimic each other?
