Dave Moore is a big Danaidae collector on here but he does not write very often. Dave

Thanks guys! Bill, feel free to copy the image or I can send it to you. The data only reads Kenya, local collector. I will send other details later. Dave

I agree with you both now. All the pictures of parathyrrena I had seen before were of orange or pinkish specimens, but I see in your photo Bill and also a female of Thierry's on the BOLD site are yellow. Is the name 'flava' valid? I will amend the name accordingly, thanks guys. Bill, do you want ta copy of this photo? Dave

Thierry, click on the photo to enlarge it. Also there is a mm scalebar underneath so you can get exact size. Dave

I have this too, it is a fantastic species and as mentioned, huge! The biggest of the Arsenuras barring maybe a female ponderosa. By the way Thanos, it is rebeli with one 'L'. Dave

Hi Thierry, data reads: Mbala, Zambia. 8 September 1971, J.C.Little. Citrinarius is the only thing I could find that resembles this, the only other species that came close was Pseudobunaea irius f. sjoestedi as pictured in Pinhey's book. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated as your knowlege of African Saturniids is far better then mine. Dave
