Hi, everyone. I ran across this website that some of you might find useful. It's for butterfly identification south of the US. It apparently isn't finished yet, but looks promising. www.butterfliesofamerica.com/L/Neotropical.htmCharlie

Very nicely done. I remember an emergence of these in central Illinois back about 1970 or so. Have never seen (or heard) anything like it since. Thanks for sharing it!

You might try a hobby store for both the domes & bases. I've seen them for sale at a local hobby chain called "Hobby Lobby" in the Houston area. Might try an auction site such as eBay as well. Good luck!

Saturnids are defininitely flying in Brazoria County, TX. Found 3 male A.polyphemus Feb. 28th. Found 3 male & 3 female A. polyphemus, 4 male A. io, 1 male A. luna, & 1 male H. cecropia (very uncommon here) on March 5th. Also found 6 species of Sphinx Moths on those two nights as well. Looks like a good start to the season. Hope freezing temperatures are behind us for this year!

I am also very glad to see you back, Bill. I always enjoy reading your posts and seeing pictures of your collection. Wish you and all of our fellow collectors a very successful and rewarding collecting season this year.
