A most audacious dynastine species !

Despite the allure and awesomeness of Dynastes hercules
and D. neptunus there are some other pretty incredible
species of this amazing subfamily.

Here, I have a picture of one of THE most audacious
looking rhinocerous species that one is likely to ever
find in the hobby.

This is Enema pan.

My specimen hails from Peru, Dept. Cuzco (1963)

The name is audacious, at least in English.

Indeed - so much like Dynastes in form, and yet, it's not a member of that genus. The same can be said of Augosoma centaurus and Xylotrupes gideon.

Enema Pan is South American, A. centaurus African, and X. gideon Asian.
