Insect identification help: spotted at Berkshire

It's a shield bug, probably family Acanthosomatidae, and I guess it could be the birch shield bug, Elasmostethus interstinctus judging by photos at www.wlgf.org/wildlife/shieldbugs

I should say that I know very little about Hemiptera and someone more knowledgeable may contradict me.
