Minnesota 2 bugs need help identifying

I know nothing about bugs but I took the best of pictures I could on these two bugs and will do my best to describe them. The smaller darker one seems to be found in my carpet just hanging out, I accidentally squished it in the photo but it’s about the size of the tweezer tip and is flat but not as flat as the other bug. As for the other one, this one is absolutely flat but can curl, it has antennas and stripes and I believe it comes out of these paper cocoon pictures next to it. I didn’t realize until now because I have lots of paper scraps, but I’ve cleaned and a couple of these popped up as well as lo behold- the bug. It seems to be in my papers/art prints I have and that’s about it.

Photo 1- middle striped larva is a dermestid, aka carpet beetle, I don't know what their cocoons/cases look like.

The smashed one might be an ant.

The images are a bit tough to resolve, but here are a couple of "informed guesses". The beetle on the left could be something close to Oryzaephilus sp., the saw-toothed grain beetles. The case on the right looks very similar to that of a clothes moth larva. Try searching these online and see if they are possibly what you have. You'll find lots of information for both.

You don't say where you are located, but both insects are found in many parts of the world...
