Hello one and all, I hope you're all well and safe. I'm quite new to entomology, so please forgive me if I have placed this in the wrong forum. I'm looking to film live specimens of Sternocera aequisignata, a tropical jewel beetle, for an upcoming series for television. We're based in the UK, and would require them towards the end of July. Does anyone know a supplier they could point me towards? We're also looking for other species, particularly lepidoptera, however I shall place that request in the other forum. Thank you in advance, I look forward to hearing from you all. All the best, Guthrie

I am not certain, but I seem to remember that adults can be found during August and September in SE Asia, but there may be some adults around in July. I have no idea how you could send live adults from SE Asia to the UK, particularly during this pandemic. If you can find someone to supply them they would have to be sent separately as if several are put together in one container they will bite each other.
Adam.
