Can anyone tel me if the Australia wildfires are affecting populations of Ornithopteras and other species of butterflyes?

From the data available to me it does not look like the range maps of Ornithoptera in Australia and the fires overlap much. The worst fires are in the South East. Ornithoptera are in North East Australia.
All animals and plants directly in the fire will obviously perish. It always depends how big the fire and how local a population is.

There were 440 hectares( 1060 acres) approx burnt in Lamington national park, Southern Queensland, the region is habitat to O.P.Richmondia late last yr, the current fires are much further south as the weather systems move south as the summer progresses
