Hello everyone, here is a beetle enthusiast from China. I live in Connecticut now.
First, I want to say is that my English skill is not very good, if anyone is interested in my post but difficult to understand me, let me know and I 'm glad to reply or explain.
After I moved to Connecticut, I tried many times to find L. elaphus but the only things I found were Longicorn. I don't know if there is any restriction for light trap, I used to do that in China and I collected some local species like L. klapperichi and L. kirchneri successfully. If anyone interested in my specimens, we can exchange. (I don't know if this forum allow exchange, if not, remind me).
I want to upload my specimen picture here but it seems there is something wrong with the forum, I can't attach my pictures...
At last, I want to contact to you guys not only by this forum because it is a bit inconvenient. (The main problem is that we can't upload our pictures.) Hope you can reply your facebook (mine is Vigil Tian) or wechat ID and I will add you as my friend, hope to communicate, share information or exchange our specimens.
Looking forward to seeing your comments and I will reply soon after I saw them. Thank you!

Welcome to the Insectnet forum. Your English is just fine. We have members from all over the World and some use an online translator to post in English.
The best way to post photos on the forum is by uploading them to a free photo hosting site and then post the links here and the picture displays in your post. Here's an explanation of how to do it which I posted elsewhere on the forum:
Join imgur.com, it's free! After you sign up and log in to the website you will see your user name at top right, or a green circle with the first letter (they just changed it). Hover your pointer over the username and a drop down menu will appear (seems you have to click it for the menu to appear now), then click on "images" and you will see a green "add images" button on the right, click that and upload your images there. Next click on the image you want to post here and you will see it on the left with a link menu on the right. Click "Copy" next to the link labelled "BBCode (message boards & forums)", then just paste the link in your post on the forum in the place you want the photo to appear. This way you can post as many photo links as you want inside a single forum post, and also it doesn't cost the forum owner anything in hosting fees (unlike if you upload a photo as an attachment).
Adam.

Adam. Hello Adam, I am very grateful for your detailed instruction. I followed what you said and I've already created some images by that website. Can you help me to check if the pics visible here? Thank you!

Nice photos! You can include text between each photo telling us what they are or where they come from if you like. I can guess the family of most of them, but am not a beetle person myself so am not really sure.
Adam.

In order, they are: Carabus sunwukong Imura Carabus penelope kleinfeld lucanus kirchneri zilioli, lucanus continentalis zilioli Carabus szechwanertsis Hauser(larva) Prismognathus yutangi Huang & Chen ( new specie last year) Members of Tenebrionidae, I didn't record their names on my phone but leave them in China, I will write their names after I back to China.
