Hi, my names Grace but I tend to more commonly go by Shy, I keep invertebrates and recently also got into pinning dried specimens. I'm relatively new and have only worked with A2 moths and butterflys up until this point, in which I have just received some a-a1 quality insects(a female mantis, two male wasps and a damselfly specimen). I have made a few displays with the lower quality moths and butterflies I dried at varying levels of success. In general I am an artistic person, although my commissions are closed for the time being, and am a full time student studying animal care. Thanks for having me~ What type of spiders are those?

Depends which one you mean! I own 10 different species of Tarantulas and a juvinile female Phidippus regius. I mostly own Brachypelma species but do have afew others such as Avicularia sp peru purple and Acanthoscurria geniculata.

Yes, very slow growing, I've had one of my brachys since since it was a sling around 1 cm big and its only just reached over an inch in size a year and a half later!

Hi, everybody!! My name is Natasha and I am 23 years old. I love almost every kind of bug there is. I love learning about and taking care of them. I can go on and on about arthropods. But I want to keep this introduction fairly short. I'll post more things in the appropriate forum sections.

If you need any advice regarding rearing, ask and we will help you as best as possible. Also, nice moth drawings! You've got some talent.

Nice to meet you,I run a pet shop in Japan.
The name of the store is lucanus.tokyo.
I have some questions, is it OK?
① Have you sent living stag from your country before? Can you send it to Japan?
② Do you want me to purchase, so please give a list of inventory?
If possible, I would like to know the price of all inventory. I also want a picture of the body.
③ If you can collect collect living stag, it will be appreciated if you can tell me the varieties.
Are there stocks of the following varieties as lucanus varieties?

Hello all!
I am specifically interested in raising and collecting various types of Saturniidae. I actually just rediscovered my passion for these and other Lepidoptera after a two-year period of busyness in my life! While my main interest is raising caterpillars, I have also been searching for years for a copy of Lemaire's "Les Saturniidae Americains. Ceratocampinae," so if anyone knows of a copy that someone would like to sell let me know!

I have a copy, and have Arsenurinae, both I suspect are worth a lot of money. Chuck

Hi everyone, I am a new member but have visited your site often over the years. I am interested mainly in North American leps (primarily butterflies) and have been collecting for approximately 22 years. One question I have right off the bat is in regards to something I read recently about killing butterflies in the net with butane (the kind you use to fill lighters). Does anyone have experience with this? I think it might be a good way to dispatch small butterflies without damage in the net quickly. Any help on this would be appreciated. Best Regards, John.

Hi folks, my name is Jeff and I live in the Pacific Northwest. I collect mostly local Lepidoptera but also occasionally collect from other orders such as Odonata, Coleoptera and Hymenoptera. Up to this point, I've only worked with freshly caught or reared material, but this year I will try my luck with dead/dried stock, rehydration techniques, etc and see how things go. Thankfully, this forum is a treasure trove of information and expertise. Cheers.
