Magnificent Parides collection Jaume, this family is by far my favorite family, even above the mighty Ornithoptera in my opinion. Parides Gundalachianus tops the lot. Rich

Fantastic specimens, Parides are my favorite too, childrenae, a. bolivar and orellana are my three top species. I've got a pair of ascanius that were from Meek. He carried out a venation study on the female and its right wing is completely devoid of scales. A shame and good at the same time.
Rich, I think we've chatted at a couple of insect fairs a few years ago, you told me about your trip to Cuba at the time. If you ever come down to London you should come over.

Hi johnny, yes i went to cuba 15 years ago now (wow times gone quick) that's probably the reason i like Gundalachianus as it's the only Parides i've had the pleasure to see in the wild. I don't really get much time to get to the shows lately but i hope to be at the Newark show in May. Drop me a line if you go to that one.
