The Lepidopterists' Society's publications are now online and freely available. This includes both the Journal and the News. While you can now use these publications free of charge, I urge you to support the Society by becoming a member. The Society is more than just the publications - it's a community. Next summer's annual meeting is a perfect example - with numerous field trips to amazing habitats in Utah planned for collectors of all types. A lot of hard work behind the scenes went into updating the previous online versions of the Lepidopterists' Society publications which were not searchable. This is a really valuable resource, for which credit should be given to those involved; and I would also urge lepidopterists everywhere to show their appreciation by joining the Society. Members receive various benefits, including printed copies of the Journal and News as well as the annual Season Summary and bienniel Membership Directory. I live half way round the World from the main focus of events, but still feel membership is very worthwhile.

$150 was relatively a lot of money in those days though.
