Greetings, anyone have Papilio astyalus bajaensis females in your collection? If you could post some pics that would be awesome. I have been trying for several years to acquire a nice A1 specimen and no luck. I think they are very beautiful species. Thank You

Picture for hellanichus. The 4 females astyalus bajaensis I have in my collection. You are right when you say that these females are not easy to get. They are really scarce. I have all the other mexican papilionidae ssp in my collection, so for any question, please feel free to contact me to my email: drjaume@yahoo.es JAUME Attachments:

Hello, these are very beautiful. I thank you for posting the photo. Is one type more rare then the others? Just curious. Thank You

Hello,
What is nice in this ssp is that all the females are different. Similar but different. Let's say that the commonest form is the top one on the left. I had in the past other 3 specimens and they were all very similar to this I mention. Of the other 3 in the picture, these are the only ones of this form I have ever seen.

Jaume, thanks again for the additional information. I really love these as they are quite colorful with a beautiful pattern.

Very nice specimens, even the males of this species are fairly difficult to come by. Thanks
