Well, got to talking with Beetlehorn and he suggested that insulation board material (mine is 1/2 inch thick) from Menard's and wow, it did great. It is gentle with the mesh, is water-proof compared to cardboard, and really hugs the mesh nicely. Attachments:

Here from the side, one can see the tray of water underneath the foamboard to recieve the stems from the leaves. Thanks Tom....great idea. Attachments:

Hey, I'm happy to say it works great. No water mess, wetness problems with frass or warping. It will be my new way for the later instars from now on. I gave it a few days to see if all was ok and it was  |
