Absolutely perfect specimen of this hard to obtain subspecies.
Note the name is humbloti, not humbolti. I assume it is derived from a French name.

does exist any recent work on this group ? I have serious doubt that many "names " included in dardanus such as humbloti are just ssp. It seems more likely that many of them represent species. Thierry

Yes Leon Humblot was a French naturalist from MHNP, an orchid specialist, he arrived in Comoros in 1883 and played a major role in the French colonization of these islands.
