So those of you who do not live in Santa Cruz County in CA may never of gone to the San Lorenzo River to look for butterflies. But now do to some careless folks throwing cigarette buts in to dry brush that caused a small fire caused the hole area to be permanently closed to the public for ever. All I can say is be really careful out there folks so more areas in public places that are good for butterfly catching are not closed. Definitely warn careless folks and homeless that tend to live in the brushy areas about the fire danger. News reporters say as the earth warms summers will be hotter and fire danger will be much worse.
