Attention Southern California Insect Collectors!Isn't it about time you had your insect collection photographed for posterity? Yes, it is. It requires some skill to get good shots that are properly exposed, in sharp focus, and without barrel distortion around the edges of the image. This is what I specialize in. I use a DSLR with a high quality macro lens and studio lighting for excellent results. See samples of my work here: cthompson.zenfolio.com/insectsThe best scenario is for you to bring your drawers over to my location in Upland, CA were I have all my macro equipment set up. Or I can travel to you if you pay my travel expenses. I charge $7 to $10 per edited image, depending on level of difficulty (we'll discuss that). Minimum order: $50 at my location or $100 at your location (plus mileage). I typically take a lot of photos and then you pick out the best ones and that's what you pay for. The original images are 12.4 megapixels in resolution. Very suitable for large prints should you need that. I provide you with a CD of your images. You will have a permanent record of your collection in beautiful color and in sharp focus. I also do macro photography of individual specimens, coin collections, shell collections, artwork, and more. Hit me up! C. THOMPSON PHOTOGRAPHY Upland, CA cthompson.zenfolio.com Attachments:

I googled it: looks like Hoplia, Rutelinae, from Southern Europe
