Some years ago, I received a specimen from a well-known Coleopterist here in the U.S. Promacropoides bertrandi seems to be a rather rarely offered specimen and I am wondering if someone out there might be able to shed some light on this animal. Data included with the specimen is: Ecuador, Cochancay, Canar, April, 1991. Thanks- any information on this species would be helpful. HR Attachments:

Hello JJ! I am sorry but I am not interested in trading this specimen, but I would like to thank you for your interest. I am interested in discovering the relationship of this taxon with other related taxa-i.e.- Chrysina and other members of the genus Promacropoides. Thanks again for your query- HR
