The correct name is Psocoptera. I was reading about them too today because I was interested in as I have a small number of nymphs of them living on my sprading boards. The adults of them can fly, look at pictures on the internet. So the adults are very tiny and simply fly into your house when the window is open. How do they find your open window ? Well they smell the dead insects. Psocoptera are also very widespread, they are some of the main agents eating detritus on leaves on the floor in forest, or something like that, I may have misunderstood. What do I do against my Psocoptera? I do have also Salticidae (jumping spiders) living on my spreading boards too, they hunt and eat them
