I'm in my mid 60's and plan on making a collecting trip to the Arctic next year. Would like some younger company, a safety issue... I am in good health just feel it would be better not to go alone.

Ahh, I would go, if I'd have funds... The time I have, and I do not fear of cold. Actually, I hate the heat here during the summers! If you're on FB, you may would like to contact Andrew Colley (Ontario), he travels on regular basis to Alaska, Yukon... I guess Dave knows him. What sort of bugs are you hunting for? No lucanids I take it I would go, except I have no time, funds and I hate the cold Of course there are no Lucanids at the high latitudes However, there should be some interesting Carabus! There are heavens for an arctic-alpine butterflies, like Parnassius (but 2 species in NA), Colias, Erebia, Oeneis, Boloria, Clossiana ! Best regards, Alexei
