i have never seen anything like this, it looks like a coleoptera, i'm in Caracas, Venezuela, right now, i saw it when it was "captured" by four ants, but he was walking like if nothing happened, i saved his life, ;D maybe someone can identify it for me, please! thanks!   |

Hi Terrancio na Welcome to insectnet,
yes you are quite right, tis a beetle
and a close relative of the Weevils, it is in the Brenthidae family, closer identification by people in the forum will be made possible if you provide a locality.
I believe some brenthidae may be associated with ants, and have symbiotic relationships.
