Hello,
I seem to have an infestation of jumping black bugs on my kitchen window and occasionally also on my living room window. I haven’t seen them anywhere else so can’t find an obvious source of food, I have no idea what they are either so not sure what they’re interested in. They don’t seem to be interested in food or the drains or even my houseplants (I added sticky traps to the soil to check and they’re clean). I’m killing up to 100 a day and it’s driving me mad!
I have googled intensely and they seem to fit the description of fungus gnats except they’re not interested in my plants and I don’t know what else they’d care for? They only ever seem to be on the windows. They do fly but mostly jump. I’m in North England if this helps. Thank you.
