Recently I saw this other one which matched the markings of the white-jawed jumping spider (see below), but the above one is different.

They have 8 or 10 eyes, those black orbs on the head are eyes.

How do I know if it’s 8 or 10? I know what the eyes look like but some are too small to count.

Do we need to identify the species first or can ones within the same species have 8 or 10 ?
