I wanted to say that when you receive something from outside the EU(even a gift),you have to pay IVA,when they ask for what do you have received you have to say that they are insects with no commercial value and non protected species.

It's expanding their range in the north of Spain, maybe the habit of to fly high of the trees makes to look rare this specie.

There are 2 Spialia sp.,Spialia rosae is a very new described specie.

For me depends of the situation,if it's a new butterfly/moth for me I collect it even if it's a damaged specimen,if it comes from buying or in an exchange I always want the better quality.

I don't know if I can say that is an influence but recently a friend of mine that is against butterfly collecting visited me for a dinner,It was a surprise to me that he asked me to show my butterflies boxes, maybe I had begin to change his opinion.

I think that is a very common specie in countries as Poland,I have so many papered from that country. Possibly in right localities. I have never seen this species in seven years ( 1983-1990) during my youth years in Poland, although as a teenager my travel was very limited. All the Catocala fraxini that I have from Poland are collected in Zbaszynek.
