You are right, these are rare species. But I am sure they are in some collectors' hand ! A. demialba is a very particular and beautiful Adelpha, some females are XL size.

Of course I have not paid the Adelpha in advance when he proposes me 50 specimens of very rare species(I mean 50 specimens by species !) ! with pictures from the web !
On the other hand I should say that if you MEET him PERSONNALY he could be a very good provider of butterflies.
Other type of scammer is the one who propose species from a country where they does not exist !

Do not make any deal with them, Zavala who works there is a scammer I ordered from him 300 dollars butterflies and he never sent it to me.Nevertheless I have been able to recover a good part of my order thanks to a friend who met him directly in Peru. I tried to ask the guy a second time if he had some particular Adelpha from Peru. He told me he had hundreds of specimens of species that are exceedingly rare !!! And the pictures where directly taken from the web !
The only way you could do some business with him is meeting him directly in Perou and pay him when you have the butterflies in your hand.
I hope this will help you.

Hello everybody, I may travel to Ecuador in November, but it is very likely I won't have time to get the export permit. Does anyone knows a way to get out butterflies from there? Maybe you know someone serious there with export permits I can join and deal with him ? Please contact me if you have a solution. Thanks !

Hi everybody, does anyone know if these brownish dashes on the yellow part can be removed ? I prefered it without ! They appeared when drying the bug. Thanks for your help and advice, Mohamed.

Hello;
this is probably A. cocala cocala but for Adelpha species, the nest way to identify them is by examinating the ventral side.
