From my blog tonight: “My subject matter tonight is again about insects. More specifically, it is about a couple of insects that encountered the Venus flytrap (Dionaea muscipula) in my bog garden. Hi all, I just posted this photo on my blog. I believe the bee is Eastern bumble bee (Bombus impatiens). The spider was an orb spider (family Araneidae) but I have no idea what kind. If anyone has any ideas at all about the spider, I’d appreciate hearing them. There are a couple more photos on my blog. Cheers EC macrocritters.wordpress.comAttachments:
