I am currently in Statesboro, GA, attending the 2019 Annual meeting which is actually the 2018 Annual Meeting which was cancelled during hurricanes. We are meeting at Georgia Southern University.
The weather has not been cooperating. Although it is rather warm but wet. Rained hard Thursday night. Friday, today, was mostly broken clouds with some sun. My best catch was a nice series of Limenitis archippus (Viceroy). They are deep brownish orange.
Fire ants are beginning to overrun the area.
I have two light traps set out. One in a wet Cypress Slough. The other in an upland scrub oak area.
The journey to Statesboro took me through Atlanta. Almost 3.5 hours just to get through Atlanta. Traffic was the absolute worst. A murder/shooting on I-75 shut down the I-75 in both direction.
Moths are flying at the sheet.
More latter.......

I returned home at 2AM, my behind is dragging. The meeting was great, the collecting was excellent and I must unpack and sort through my Lep's.
So be patient. I will get round two it.
