Nice specimen John. I'll have to keep my eyes open for it. Do you know much about this species? I know nothing about it.

It isn't a species, it's a natural hybrid between menatius and warscewiczii. There's nothing to stop females also being produced during hybridization, and of course they'd be much rarer than males anyway. Chances are, someone is making these hybrids now, just like all those "nandina" on sale all of a sudden from Africa.
