The most unusual found in winter

I have never found a Cetoniidea in the middle of winter almost July. I found this Cetoniidea yesterday at Gold Coast QLD Australia. I think this is a introduced species. Any thoughts???

It appears to be Protaetia fusca, the mango flower beetle (or mottled flower scarab) which is known from Queensland, Australia.

Thanks this species has came across my mind but I found this Cetoniidea on a Brassia orchid flower. I normally found them on native flowers during spring to summer but not in the middle of winter. That's why I think Maybe​ this is a introduced species.
