Well the time has come.... a long rewarding career comes to an end and another chapter begins. Watch out bugs, now I have the time for more collecting and being outdoors.

Congratulations, Bill! Welcome to the ranks. I have been retired from teaching/administration for twelve years now after 32 years of service. Retirement is probably the best job I have ever had. You will wonder how you got anything done when you were working. Bill Oehlke

Wow, that's great, 33 years. I learned about insects and collecting from a neighbor that was a biology teacher when I was 10 years old. That was 43 years ago and we remain good friends to this day. He had huge impact on my life.

Good luck Bill, you will enjoy it.
I retired in 2009. I got tired of working for and with idiots and morrons and decided I give Leptraps my full attention.
And I thought I was busy before, (Although I have time for a nice nap every day.) I enjoy every minute of it.
And you WILL enjoy it.

Congrats Bill, well deserved. I know retirement is a long ways off for me. But when I do I have a hobby to keep busy.

Congratulations Bill on your retirement, now the real work starts, collecting, sorting, setting and cataloging your ever growing collection and making important life changing decisions, like what species to get next or which forest to visit etc, tough times ahead. lol
All the best,
Rich
