I haven't collected a catocala in about two weeks now. I guess for me the season is over for the year

I have not tried for a while since it has been colder at night, but I still see Catocala in good shape being posted online from the northeast. I want to catch some Papaipema but it's at that stage where I don't want to drive far for a poor sheet, but I don't know a safe area with composites to drop a bucket trap.

Put out a bait line to get rid of a container of old bait from my early Sept trip.
Had one Catocala cara, still in decent shape, but all alone. The only insect on the bait despite warm temps. I will have to check my bucket trap later.

I took my light sheet down today. I had a good year by my standards. Can't wait to start a catocala season 2015 thread when the time comes.
