Really well filmed video about butterfly conservation in wetland areas of France. Thanks for posting. Among the interesting butterflies, some lovely L. dispar footage. Please can you tell me the name of the Satyrid, that the researches were Marking and releasing. I believe that must have been Maculinea [Phengaris} alcon with the Marsh Gentian. The farmer was doing a very good job by clearing the bracken to save the habitat. Great work and all good stuff. Must get over to photograph the L. dispar.

The Satyrid : Coenonympha oedippus = Fadet des laiches = False Ringlet = Moor-Wiesenvögelchen = Lindos ojos.
Four threatened butterflies are presented in this very well-done video :
- Lycaena dispar Haworth, 1803 - Maculinea telejus Bergsträsser, 1779 - Coenonympha oedippus Fabricius, 1787 - Maculinea alcon Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775
