Now that we have put a face to the collector and shared about the other hobbies we love I think it would be interesting to hear about what pets forum members have. At this time I have:
4 Rabbits 8 Tarantulas 1 Scorpion 2 kingsnakes 1 Milksnake 1 Leopard Gecko 1 Marine aquarium

For years I managed pet stores, worked in animal shelters, worked as a diver collecting aquarium fish, and worked for a reptile importer. At one point I had 10 29 gallon aquariums and a 110gallon marine tank, terrariums of dart frogs, uromastyx lizards, as well as 10 cages of hamsters. Now I am getting old and have just one pet - a dog.

My wife and I have two kittens (Actually they are Cats now, but to us, they will always be kittens.). They were 5 weeks old when I caught them. They just appeared one day at the home of a friend. Missy and Misty (Double Trouble!!) Attachment Deleted

Hey Simon,
I have the same problem around my place. The wife and kid love the pets but I am the only one that gets to feed and clean up after them. The rabbits think I am a personal servant or unpaid intern!

I think the fish are grateful...in my house it's my six year old that already thinks I'm her servant...tonight she asked me to get her a drink and then said "and make it snappy"!!!!! Simon

I had two cats. Bathsheba was an American Burmese, and Mandy was a Persian mix. Both were very sweet cats. Bathsheba never used her claws when I held her. She was a white blue point and a very beautiful cat. She always followed me around the house, and would sleep with me in my bed. Mandy always purred, and would lick me to death. I never let them out of the house without a leash and halter. They lived to be 22 and 23 years old. Sheba died the night after Thanksgiving, 2011, and Mandy died September 9th, 2012. They were 7 and 71/2 years old when I adopted them in 1998. I miss them immensely. Both of them had blue eyes. Jeff Prill

Greetings! I have one dog - her name is Amber. She's a great companion and as can be seen in the photo - a vicious guard dog! Attachment Deleted
