After many years of being a member of Insectnet, I would like to take a moment and say thanks to the founder of this website. I think that all other members share in the appreciation in all you do for us Clark. So on behalf of us all, I would like to give thanks now. At no other time in history has one single entity brought so many collectors together on a worldwide scale. I can honestly say on a personal level that some of my most cherished friendships originated by means of contacting other members of this website. Although this is a wonderful hobby/activity, it is by no means a mainstream pursuit such as fishing or golf for example. We are usually few and far between, so to have this site as a means of contact for, research, buying, selling, trading, sharing experiences, and seeing other collections is a blessing for the serious enthusiast, as well as the beginner. At the risk of being somewhat presumptuous, I look forward to what this website has to offer in the future.

I'll add my thanks here too, as well as good wishes for the future. I am very happy to have been able to contribute in my small way.
I think though that this is the 14th anniversary of the founding of Insectnet, if it was opened on 26th Dec 1999.
Adam.

Also many thanks from me. I found many good friends here (Since September 2008), made awesome collecting trips with people that I met here and probably half of my collection comes from trading with people that I met here.
For those that didn't know, on the main page of insectnet in the left column there is a tip jar for Clark in order to support this website financially.

I too will add my sincere "Thank You" to Clark. May the next 14 years be fruitful. By then we may have embedded microchips in our heads and communicate telepathically. That would be a sure way to weed out scammers.
Happy New Year to all and Happy Anniversary to Clark.

By then we may have embedded microchips in our heads and communicate telepathically. We do have a live chat at the bottom of the page. That is the next best thing.
