I have just received 40 Argema mimosa cocoons. I have never bred them before, didn't ask for them, but thought I would give them a try anyway. I think they are this species because two had already pupated in the box and I checked up on the internet. Do they have to be hung up in order to hatch out, and do the cocoons have to be at a certain temperature? thanx in advance pete Attachments:

They are from Zambia. They are now pupating. 3 more have emerged overnight. What do they need to live on?

please excuse my ignorance, they are fully emerged adults, do they feed off the leaves?

no ... adult don't feed, only the caterpillars
