Hi John, Altho' "banned" by Clark after a vote a while ago by InsectNet members, both Augusto and Yenifer appear to be selling on the Classified ads once again? I guess redemption comes easy these days. I still say it's best to avoid them altogether. Richard California, USA |

Golden rule, no payment in advance to even vaguely questionable sellers!! Only agree to buy if he agrees to accept payment on receipt. Adam. |

Anyone else noticed this post in the classifieds under the "missing trader" heading? "Is there anyone can contact this Peruvian dealer, Mr.Augusto R. Torres? He uses the following e-mail address: inkagrias@hotmail.com or forest-insect@hotmail.com I sent money to him and have been waiting for my parcel for a month, but I have received nothing. I sent e-mail many and many a time but currently I haven't received his reply. Please let me know if anyone can contact him. Many thanks, Naoki Shibata" Clark - surely it's time to ban Augusto once and for all..? He's clearly shown himself to be untrustworthy, unreliable and simply incapable of sending the specimens people have paid him for Simon PS - Surely this acts as a reminder (as if one were needed) that you should absolutely NEVER send money in advance to anyone unless you know they are 100% trustworthy, honest and reliable... |

Yes, He needs to go bye-bye for good. His name comes up over and over as someone who takes the money and runs. It is odd that he and Yenifer continue to be able to post in the classifieds. I was sorry to hear of yet another victim. There are so many good bugs in Peru but it's just tough to find a legitimate supplier.

Augusto Torres is a cheater and a VERY DISHONEST person. Don't trust him and never send any money in advance. He operates under different emails and names. Someone told me that Augusto is not his real name.

I would like to inform you that Mrs. Yenifer Fiorella Panduro Saldana (she is suspected to have worked with Augusto Torres) delivered a parcel to me and all is ok.
I sent her the payment in advance and was worried because I didn't receive the insects during 3 months, but finally the parcel arrived. Yenifer told me the export
permit took a long time to be processed - anyway, she always replies to emails, her paperwork regarding export permits and adress etc. is accurate and neat,
I recommend her as a honest supplier (I know it is my first deal), but I doubt she has anything to do with other scammers being named here in this forum.

Dear friends,
I just want to remind anybody not to send any Dollar to AUGUSTO R.TORRES alias FOREST INSECT (real Name DAMASO GONZALES AGUIRRE). He owes me and a lot of other people thousands of Dollars and he keep on cheating people! I wait for my specimens more than a half year now but all I get are lies and false promises.

So are House Insects of Peru (Javier Zavala Lopez) who stole $750 from me a few years ago as well as apparently ripping off many other people.
Do not deal with any of these people unless they make good all their existing debts.
