The second seems to be : Catocalinae : Mocis mayeri (BOISDUVAL, 1833) Is that right ? Many thanks !

I was thinking that the first moth was a species of Hypopyra, but it doesn't match any of my specimens, nor does it match any of the specimens on African Moths, even despite the range would be correct for one of species, and despite the variability of some of them. Jeff Prill

Dear Prillbug4 Despite some differences (in colour but not in design pattern), I presume that it's : Catocalinae : Hypopyra capensis, Herrich-Schaeffer, 1854. Many thanks for your answer about Hypopyra genus !
