my question is, how can I instruct an unexperienced collector on how to kill and preserve large, fat crickets? killing: -is it best to place the specimen in a freezer? -or throw it in boiling water? (Ethyl Acetate = complicated for instructing) preserving: when it's dead, how shall it be preserved to obtain the colours and for oversea shipping? Thanks in advance for any advice!

//Ethyl Acetate = complicated for instructing//
How come? Just put some nail polish remover on a piece of cotton, it will work similarly. Sorry, can't give you specific instructions for large crickets since I've never collected them. When I collected medium size grasshoppers I just killed them with Ethyl acetate and dried.
