I would have been happy to get a pair of this species, but I was lucky enough to acquie a small series with much variation. All 7 are (I think) Syntherata janetta Polly Creek, North Queensland, AUSTRALIA March 2002 male 1 is 100mm Attachments:

male 2 is 101mm w more brown and heavier zig-zagging Attachments:

and finally the female.....she is 110mm These guys remind me of the E. oslari I was catching at my lights in AZ...............so much variation. Attachments:

Hi Bill, Very nice display showing high variability of these moths. I have posted all, credited to you, to the S. janetta file on WLSS. Very nice also to have the wingspans, and to know there is a March flight.
