Here is a pair of andranodorus andrefana from Western Madagascar,beside them on the left is a pair of the much larger nominate race from Eastern Madagascar for comparison Attachments:

superb aren't they considered today as two different species ? that could be logical regarding the differences

Yes andrefana is now a species in its own right. I'm still old school and still use a lot of original terms. It is totally different. I am actually setting my collection of papered butterflies from Western Madagascar at the moment and most of them are endemics and very interesting
