Hi All, Another Morpho - I'm hoping someone can tell me what this is? The only data I've got on this one is "Venezuala". I know what I hope it is (even with a glued hindwing!) but am looking for confirmation?  Thanks in advance, Simon |

Male Morpho rhetenor augustinae (or formerly known as diana augustinae ). Yup,wow,even with a glued hindwing ! Recently 2 males were sold on ebay for high prices : one A- ex Le Moult for +1000usd, and one A1 for +1100usd(this one not too expensive for perfect quality of a very rare butterfly). Thanos |

Yup - I was hoping, based on its appearance and collecting location that this was diana.
I've only got about 20 Morphos total in my collection so I consider myself extremely fortunate that this beauty is among them.
