...that only gives the impression that it was not an entirely heartfelt 'this is just for you, darling' present... ...I am still copping it for giving my dear wife a drum of boat fuel back in the early 90's...

Great pair of one of my country's endemics ! This one occurs only on Taygetos Mt. and nowhere else ! But not rare there.

well she BELEIVES it was heartfelt Baz which is good enough for me, it means I am in the good books for a while. Yes Thanos, I was told that where it does occur it is not rare but as you say very local, stunning butterfly.

Out of all the things I bought yesterday the papilio esperanza has to be the steal of the centuary at 120 pounds. The taygetos blues were 15, and I bought some very old 130 years plus super rare British moths, I will post pics of tyhese later.

Baz - I gave my wife a Kirby vacuum cleaner ($600.00+) one year for an anniversary present. That was about 20 years ago & she still brings it up occasionally! LOL

the trick is I find to actually look hurt and offended at the very SUGESTION that your heart was'nt in it and you bought it with a motive in mind, guilt is a great tool when used properly.
