Dave,
Great specimen - rarer than rocking-horse poop! (as Mike would say similarly)

Dave, Did you list this? A search on "Argema" produces no results??? Simon

Ah...that's better. I can see it now! Good luck with the auction - if I hadn't spent up on a new cabinet and loads of Troides recently I'd have had a go at it. Gotta ask though Dave...if it's your favourite...why are you selling it? (got an A1 one? ) Simon

I have a pair in slightly better nick than this one, I just desperately need money right now, hence me selling my British butterfly and moth collections too.

Dave,
Sorry to hear that you're having to sell off some of your collection, you've got so much great stuff, and I've only seen part of it! I'm sure you've put a great deal of effort into acquiring most of it.

Should have fetched more, as you say someone did well for him or herself. Money seems to be tight with everyone at the moment (except bankers of course)

Yes, I would have liked more but at least it payed for itself and a bit more. They did get a bargain!

that's ebay
Or it could have climbed to ridiculous price if a few people started a bidding war
And I'm not sure if as many people collect moths as butterflies. I don't touch moths except Uranidae
