this picture is from a chinese breeder that he went to s.e.Tibet this summer,Motuo or Chayu county as the collecting data for him is secret so i did not asked him,but i guess was probably collected in a place in Motuo for that i saw his thread on forum i assmued, this place i went this summer also, but did not collected due to i was a bit late or some other facts. anyway this is a uncommon Lucanidae,i don't even know the name, and no record of this Lucanidae also distrubute in China. i found from a Lucanidae site,a link: web.me.com/alain.galant/LES_LUCANIDAE_DU_MONDE/Pogonodorcus_Sircari.htmlaccording to this site, this sp. distributes in N.E.India,Meghalaya & Nagaland, both of thouse 2 places is not far from that place in Tibet. but the mandibile looks some a bit differences between the picture i posted. so i would like to know what sp. it is if any Lucanidae collector know this? Thank You! Attachments:

in passing, another picture attached, another Lucanidae sp. which was also collected by him in S.E.Tibet. a Digonophorus sp. but is it Digonophorus costipennis? the picture from website only show large mandible males (Tenedont), this one is small mandibile,as the possibility of the variation of mandibles,so is it perhaps a small mandible male? or other sp. again, according to the reocrd of China's Lucanidae, only exist Digonophorus costipennis. which lives in Yunnan prov. and Myanmar also exist. a rare sp. good one. I don't think the 1st one is Pogonodorcus sircari but I think it might be Prismognathus sp. How big is it?
2nd sp, yes it's Digonophorus costipennis

i also think was perhaps Prismognathus sp. but as the species from this genus have mandibile variation,so it's hard to tell which sp. it is on earth. i looked up from a lucanidae site, web.me.com. nothong was found.
as to the 2nd sp. i really have no idea. but you have relative better answer. thank you Ray!
