The seller is not a fraud. I think he himself was deceived by the seller from whom he bought. I informed this seller because I live in the same country and I do not want our country to be considered "liars", so I hope that it will cancel this auction before its end.

I’ve never said or assumed that he/she is a scammer with 100% green light on the profile ( although the bid is kind of red flag but who knows, maybe someone wants a good deal purchase) Just wanted to point out so one won’t be highly disappointed getting a male at very high cost

Hey Paul, you made an astute observation about this species females (regarding the wings); about 3 years ago on our sister forum.
I will let you elaborate on your keen observation.
Genitalia are not always easy to see in photographs and although the species is readily dimorphic in size between the sexes; some scammers try to sell off small males or "doctored" specimens as females.

Hi Pavel (Palikan), was there a any reaction/response from the seller? The P. antimachus was sold for 610 USD. (2 bids). If the seller was informed that it was only a male, then I find that very disappointing. The post should then be moved to the insect trading reports.

Hi, the seller thanked me for the warning and promised to check this butterfly. If he finds out that this butterfly is male, he will return the money to the buyer. I believe that in the end it will turn out well for the buyer and the money will be returned to him.

Honest mistakes happen...
When they happen to people who are "good at heart" then the mistakes are corrected and all is right with the world.
