Amazing report John !
I am shocked that A. polyphemus is so prolific a species in your far north region. I would suspect H. columbia of being there to some degree...however, if 100-150 polys is your take this season that's staggering !
I've never heard of anyone (stateside) EVER taking anything near those numbers.
To be honest, without really knowing the habitat of your immediate area I would think "tundra butterflies" like the alpines (Oeneis) would really be your forte'. That is other than "boo-koo" numbers of medium/small sized noctuid moths.
Not making any fun here. Just pointing out that NE Sask., Canada is a "fer piece north" and one just does not imagine finding much of any real (size) up there unless it's a stray.
