Heya! Just like the title says I'm struggling with the giant amount of poop my extatosoma tiaratum are producing. I have a full bio active setup with springtails and isopods but that thing is filling up faster than they can break it down (if they even are?) I have four 6~ month old stickbugs so naturally there's a fair amount of poop, but I'm having trouble spotting any springtails or isopods actually breaking it down, and now it seems like it's starting to mold over and have a bad smell to it. I'm not quite sure what to do. Should I start manually removing the poop? Add some other cleanup crew? There's like 30 isopods in there already. Thanks for any responses! Here's a picture of one of sticks as a treat

Sounds like your setup is way too crowded. I can only compare it to a box of large caterpillars. If you don't clean it you will get into trouble.
