I sometimes get spare specimens and have been wanting to trade with collectors around the world to get access to foreign species. However, I'm not too sure about trading overseas... Does one just post it like regular mail or does posting insects require permits? EDIT Attention, fellow collectors. Thank you for the information on trading. That really helped. I will most definitely inform you when I have more spares in. Unfortunately, as for now, the last piece has already been reserved. Not to worry. I go collecting quite often and I'll open up threads on the species I'm trading. Also, I'm not fussy. Regardless on the species I'm willing trade, I'll accept almost anything that I am yet to have in my collection. Even if its a Prepona Werneri for a say... a common Antheraea Polyphemus or something like that. A spare is just a spare to me. Good news for you guys I'm sure.

Caleb
If you are living in Brazil, you would need a permit for export your specimens out of Brazil because it's illegal with out a permit.

Caleb If you are living in Brazil, you would need a permit for export your specimens out of Brazil because it's illegal with out a permit. Well, I don't live in Brazil. My name isn't Caleb, either. That's just an alias I use frequently on the Internet. My name is Khalid Fadil and I live in Malaysia. I collect mainly butterflies and moths with some beetles and other insects on the side.

Khalid
Malaysia is fine, you don't need a permit for exporting dead specimens but you do with live specimens.
