I looked through the other subjects in the blog. Nice job with photography Olivier, it reminded me of something someone might address, and that's collecting technique. besides the color of your clothing, nets come in colors as well, and there are different ways, at least ways I learned about net technique, like holding the net a certain way, or holding the end of the net, depending on the situation.
Then there is the matter of getting a specimen out of the net without it flying off, dispatch could be covered.
My days of chasing down anything across a field are over at 56. Breathing issues have stopped that, but lying in wait, traps, and night collecting are all good topics. Night collecting is my specialty now, lying back, watching the bluray player and waiting for something to hit the sheet. During the day, waiting for dark, it's parking myself in a flight path, and hoping for the best. Hilltopping is another subject.
